No. 44 - A Spark
Inspired
Running down a fine wire
From what has yet come to be
To me;
Asking,
Now please?
Will you put in motion
The movement you’ve received–
Pushing through writer’s block
And unformed thought
To words
Unheard together
But better
For the time spent getting them down;
And their sound
Hits my heart
Found,
Like a bat call
Hits a wall–
There it is!
I had no clue at all till then,
When the lighting struck
And the darkened muck
Saw a spark
Of what’s inside
My mind–
Not the beginning
Nor the end,
But a vessel to wrestle
Something into
Something else
That has not been.
What will become
I cannot say,
Until I put the pen to page.
