Beauty is simple

A candle

A rose

The scent of lavender left on my bones

Time is a taker

But he does not waste

He turns moments to minutes to hours to days

And days into lifetimes

Till seconds are traded in

To that eternal bank

Better bargains than we could jargon for

Better returns then the riches we spill on the floor

For there is a something greater here
