No. 27 - Few Places

Few places are better than a library.

Quiet contentment

And books to read

Spaces to sit and to contemplate

Where no one will ask–

Are you done with your plate?

No, here the thinking is free

And though the walls plain,

They are a better product of taxation.

Yes, they leave room for your own interpretation

Of the passing day.

While the light dims through windows

To what land we go

Is up to the author’s presentation

And our imagination.

With such revelation,

How could you deny my proclamation?

Few places are better than a library!
