No. 24 - Peace

Peace be with you

Peace be with me

If I say it and I mean it

Will it be easier to believe

That peace will come down

On our un-solid ground

To abide

Taking the time to

Grow

Learn

And know

Me

Entering the stable

Sitting across the table

Seeing how unable

I am to sit or to stand

–whichever is required of me

And if he does

Dare to come

Will he stay and will he wait

For me to open the door

To call out once more

In the hurry of his passing

My need

For his lasting

Store of so much more

The treasure I seek

Peace
